PAWS Chicago (Pets Are Worth Saving) is a non-profit organization that works to end the euthanasia of adoptable dogs and cats in Chicago. They were founded in 1997 and have been working to save the lives of animals by providing low-cost spay/neuter services, a trap-neuter-return program for community cats, and a variety of adoption services. PAWS Chicago operates the largest no-kill animal shelter in the Midwest, and one of the largest in the country.
